The Collegiate Bear debuted in 1996 in the form of a plush bear and, six years later, was voted by Polo fans to appear on a jumper for the first time in Ralph Lauren history. Now, the Collegiate Bear is back and with a few stylish updates — tortoiseshell glasses and a pullover emblazoned with "Polo". Just like the original, the hand-stitched "RL" initials on the hem are in the same shade as the bear's pink oxford shirt.
