With an emphasis on practical luxury, the Matthews introduces a technical sensibility to the balmacaan coat, constructed from an impeccably soft, breezy fabric that is specially treated for a water-repellent finish and left unlined for lighter weight. Designed with a concealed placket, buttoned collar tab and self-belt, the coat is accented by a “Ralph Lauren Made in Italy”–debossed lambskin patch and genuine horn buttons.

Details- straight fit. Designed to fall to the mid-calf.
- UK size 12 has a 123 cm body length and a 77 cm sleeve length. Body length is taken from the high point of the shoulder. Sleeve length is taken from the neckline and changes approximately 0.5 cm between sizes.
- Point collar. Buttoned collar tab. Concealed buttoned placket with one exposed button at the collar. Custom-designed genuine horn buttons with a "Ralph Lauren" logo. Lambskin patch debossed with "Ralph Lauren Made in Italy" at the centre back of the neck.
- Long raglan sleeves. Buttoned tabs on the cuffs. Two front waist buttoned welt pockets. Custom-designed genuine horn buttons with a "Ralph Lauren" logo. Metal eyelets at the underarms.
- Belt loops. Comes with a buckled self-belt. Genuine horn buckle. Vented back hem. Unlined.
- Shell and belt: 100% wool. Trim: 100% lambskin.
