The Ralph jacket is a powerful silhouette directly inspired by Mr Lauren's personal tailoring preferences. It features a wide lapel balanced by a contoured waist and a shorter length. The lower stance of the buttons is a signature feature of Mr Lauren's own double-breasted suits, which he wears fastened at the bottom button. Hand-tailored in Italy, this chalk-stripe version is constructed with Ralph Lauren’s soft Kent shoulder and paired with our pleated Gregory trousers. It is crafted from a wool-and-cashmere twill that was custom-developed for Purple Label.

Details- Jacket: lighter construction with finer canvassing and a roped shoulder. Trouser: Straight fit.
- Size 40R jacket has a 77 cm front body length, a 75.5 cm back body length, a 47.5 cm shoulder and a 45 cm sleeve length.
- Size 33W trouser has a 25.5 cm rise and a 38.5 cm leg opening.
- Jacket: peak lapels; buttonhole on the left lapel; double-breasted silhouette; casein buttons; unfinished cuffs ready for custom tailoring; left chest welt pocket; ticket pocket; two front waist pockets; three interior pockets; double vent; fully lined.
- Trouser: side adjusters; zip fly with an extended hook-and-bar closure; curtain waistband; double-pleated front; side on-seam pockets; two back buttoned pockets.
- Trouser: lined to the knees; comes unhemmed with a 97 cm inside leg. Alterations available in Ralph Lauren retail stores.
- Shell: 95% wool, 5% cashmere. Undercollar: 70% wool, 30% viscose. Jacket lining: 100% cupro. Trouser lining: 100% viscose.
